At the forefront of the green growth agenda, Wolverhampton takes pride in hosting Europe's largest specialist architecture and built environment campus at the University of Wolverhampton, alongside the esteemed National Brownfield Institute. In addition, major regeneration initiatives, such as the City Learning Quarter—a £61 million project—are underway, transforming education and skills facilities for the benefit of residents across the city and beyond.
Further contributing to Wolverhampton's appeal is the extensive investment in infrastructure and the visitor economy. The multi-million-pound refurbishment of The Halls Wolverhampton, the city's anchor music and entertainment venue operated by global entertainment giants AEG, is set to draw 300,000 visitors annually. A compelling five-year events programme is generating increased visitors, business, investment, and interest, solidifying Wolverhampton as a 'destination of choice.'
